The story begins at a time when France was divided into provinces or dukedoms.
গল্পটি শুরু হয় এমন এক সময়ে যখন ফ্রান্স দেশটা বিভক্ত ছিল ছোটো ছোটো প্রদেশে বা ডিউক শাসনাধীন এলাকায়।
In one such province, there was a usurper, who had deposed and banished his elder brother, the lawful Duke.
