Ans: Aunt Polly fastened one end of the silk thread to Tom’s tooth and the other end to the bed-post. She pulled the thread and the tooth hung dangling by the bed post. In this way Tom’s loose tooth was taken out.

A Terrible Bus Accident
Uluberia, December 12, 2024: A terrible bus accident took place yesterday at around 9:30 AM when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck near Bazarpara More due to break failure. Immediately local people rushed to the spot and informed the police. Five passengers, including a child and a woman, were injured. They were sent to the nearest hospital with the help of local people. They were released with first aid as their injuries were not serious. The traffic was disrupted due to the accident, leaving vehicles stranded for an hour. By the intervention of police, the wreckage was cleared and normalcy was restored.
