A Stop on the Midnight Road
Last week, our school organised an educational excursion to Murshidabad by bus. The teachers guided us and told us about the historical importance of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. At the end of the day, we took our seats on bus and started returning. It was a night journey. Suddenly an awkward situation happened. The tyre of the bus punctured. It happened near a small jungle on the way. The roads were desolated. We were very scared. Time seemed unmoved. We had to wait for two hours in anxiety. At last the tyre was fixed and we returned home safely. The horror of the incident still haunts me.
